Engine Rebuild II Wrapping Up
I have made a lot of progress since my last blog. I have not been keeping up on this forum... honestly because I boycotted this forum after scammers like Mr4G sullied the experience for me. I wish admin would ban scammer dusche bags.
I am only posting because I am proud/excited I have the engine back together again. The last build died a crank walk death after 200 miles. Check out my poor thrust bearing. >500mi on the new build and still going. I have some issues to trouble shoot but so far hope is the word. I have lots of cool pictures to add when I have a chance. If this build is not solid I am done with the 7 bolt. I pinned the crap out of the girdle this time. If that crank moves a thousandth I am going to go office space on it. I am going bigger (of course.) I am aiming for a 10 second car now. very street, very sleeper, very underestimated. something worth pulling out the pinks for.
A fellow DSMer just opened a shop in my hood! I am excited to get over there and check it out. I bet he could save me hundreds of $ worth of mistakes. Check him out if you are an upstater www.facebook.com/DSMRevival.
