Problem:
1st Gear: If you put car into first ya get a little errnt (Maybe 1/2 sec), then goes in. The slower/easier you go into 1st the less errnt ya get.
2nd Gear: This is the worst gear of them all, no matter how easy/slow I put it in I get a errrrnt then goes in. (maybe 2 secs)
3rd Gear: This gears alot like first, (maybe 1/2 sec noise) then goes right in.
4th Gear: This gear is fine no noise goes in perfect
5th Gear: Havent tried 5th yet, (still need plates/tags/insurance havent driven her much)
Reverse: Reverse is also perfect goes right in without any problems

I have Bg Syncroshift in, Stiff Shifter Plate Bushings, SS Clutch line, New Clutch slave and Master, new exedy clutch kit (less than 10 miles) Taboo Longer Slave Rod Im getting great engagement/disengagement

My syncros are on the way out right?

If you are getting good clutch action, then it is probably syncros.

thats what i thought :(

At first I was having a ton of trouble with clutch disengagement, but i got all that working great now with alot of new parts, and a shimmed pivot ball.

Syncro's :(

went for a drive tonight and it seems like its grinding most of the time but not all of the time WTF? 1/2/3 2nd always ginds, but 3rd didnt and neither did 1st odd?

How many miles are on the tranny. Sounds like clutch pedal adjustment, since it is fairly conistant through all the gears.

If you replace the synchros don't forget the new needle bearings, reatainers and 3/4 hub and sleeve and new bearings all the way around.

the tranny came outta my 90 eclipse parts car, and the odometer read 140k. I've replaced everything in the hydrolic system from clutch master to ss clutch line to slave and even added a taboo longer slave cylinder rod. At the time the tranny went in, i did have a really hard time with disengagement, which i found the problem to be worn clutch fork. Because the fork was sitting towards the passenger side, so i pulled the tranny back out and shimmed the pivot ball with 1 thick washer and after reinstalling the trans, the fork was sitting towards the drivers side and now I got what seem to be perfect disengagement.
