please help: Identify strange JDM tranny....

Ok, motor is JDM spec, supposed to be 91 year model, out of a gvr4. I separated the tranny from the motor (complete with turbo and cyclone intake, etc....) Once I got it home I realized the gear selector was MUCH different than the 92 I have installed in the car (center diff is gone), and even different than the original 90 that I had at one point....

My question. What do I have?

check on vfaq. I think I heard something about the gearing being different, usually a bad thing.

I'lll try to check it tonight...the long arm (bolt on) looks like a 91-94, the side arm (actual shifter I believe) is an L shape instead of being straight......I'll try to have pics and vin tonight.
