Princeton,
yes I have installed an act 2600 and after bleeding the system, with 1 and 1/2 bottles of brake fluid, clutch dissengages about 1/2, to 3/4 down to the floor, same problem everyone else has, did a search :) , so I already replaced the slave cylnder and now I figure I need to adjust the clutch pedal right??? any hints or tips how to do this. or do I have to do anything else.

A couple days ago Jon at TRE announced information on how to adjust the clutch pedal on his website, but I have not visited the site to see whether or not it is there.

try vacuum bleeding, i had a similar problem with my act, i did go through 4 bottles of brake fluid but my pedal is high and disengages normally and i never adjusted the pedal

If you haven't already figured the problem out, check out the info I gave this guy, it sounds like you could have the same problem. I really noticed that there was a problem after I installed my 2600, also. I tried everything from dumping bottle after bottle of brake fluid through it, to replacing my slave and master cylinders, adjusting my clutch all the way out, and it was a pretty simple overlooked thing. Good luck
