2G AWD (AT to MT)

I know it's possible but has anyone attempted/completed this conversion? i definatley want to swap my ato out in order to get the 5 speed. im going to wait until i get the 6 bolt engine though. will that be easier or harder?

thats a 1g fwd, i have an awd 2g. very, very different.
