Is there any problems going from auto98 to a 5speed out of a fwd90?

You want to put a FWD 1990 5 speed into a 98 auto AWD?

FWD trannies can't be made into AWD trannies. If you put in a FWD tranny you get a FWD car.

1G trannies won't fit into 2G because the 1G only has one motor mount on the tranny, and the 2G has 3.

All around cant be done? I figured since it's a 5speed core modifications could be done or parts could be bought.

What about 2g auto bolt's right in with 2g body, with 1g block?

I'am would like to do a FWD90laser 5speed swap into my Auto.*AWD*98GSX. I know the parts. But will it bolt up into my 2g?

A 90 FWD tranny will bolt up to the motor, and your front axles will fit, but that's all. The tranny won't bolt onto the car, and the transfer case won't bolt onto the FWD tranny.

Again, the answer is NO
