Before I get into this, the reason for the tranny was because I wheel hopped so bad that I busted my spider gears straight through my transmission:cry: . I had a rebuilt one installed this past weekend. However, I'm experiencing the following:

1)Car oscillates between 1-1.5k
2)I hear hissing from what I believe is the intake manifold
3) On my SAFC, I usually have 1k at +28. Now I can go up to +50, and it STILL reads lean.

Now the weird part:confused:
Driving is horrible. I hear rubbing around the transmission. If I'm driving 30mph or slower, everything seems cool. If I drive any faster then shift, my BOV doesn't blow as soon as I let off the gas. Instead, if I have the clutch down, it revs up until I have to stomp on the clutch. Also, if I go past thirty, and I let off the gas completely, my car just accelerates-hard. That's the best I can explain it. Any ideas?

Possible maf not plugged in or you have a leak between the maf and turbo. Check those first.

Well, if you are talking about the MAS that connects to the intake, it's connected. And I'm pretty sure that there is no leak between that and the turbo as I checked all the pipes. But I'll check it again. Do I perhaps need to have my ECU reset?

Sounds like your throttle plate is getting stuck open. Check the throttle linkage cable. Bracket should be mounted to the back of your intake manifold. make sure your carpet isn't catching the gas pedal and making it stick.

took the car back to the shop this am. We found the spring on the TB was loose. Also, the gasket needs to be replaced. They sprayed some kind of sealant, and the engine maintained a constant idle momentarily. We also tapped on the MAS, which also made the engine maintain a constant idle. The mech says the MAS is bad too, however I'm not too sure, it was the first time my car moved in almost 40 days. How can I check the MAS?

LOL. yeah I could....it's just finding one.....not to mention I don't want to buy one that I didn't actually need.

If I wasn't the only one down here. I'll find someone. But thanks for your help man. :thumb:

My TB needed a new gasket, which exlains the assy idling. The spring on the TB was off, and in a position that kept leaving the TB stuck open. The rubbing sound was from a busted axle, and bad wheeb hub assy. It's always something with these cars.OMG But at least I'll get it finished and back no later than friday. :thumb:

sorry if i am wierd, i don't trust mechanics, they are probly blowing smoke up your ass about the maf and just want you to buy something new

if your maf is bad it will run like complete and major ass

u should stiffin your motor mounts if you can get it hoppin hard enough to break spyder gears through the casing of the tranny

Yeah, when you beat them hard enough to blow the gearbox out of the casing and break axles, they're just fussy.

I know......I know......:p
