clutch adjustment

ok, i just got my 90 gsx back today from having my act 2600 put in. my problem is that it engages right off the floor. i don't think the clutch is totaly disengaging either, i can smell clutch burning when at a stop light for a while. i read in a post that there is a rod in the slave cylinder or somthing that you can turn. i can't find the post though. if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it. thanks
