91 awd trans into a 90 awd, any problems?

im getting ahold of a free 91 trans and my car is a 90, will i have any problems with different splines or transfer case not fitting, i am under the assumption they are the same but i fugured id check on here first before i ripped it all apart. thanks

I did the same swap a while back, you may have to use the 1990 shifter cable brackets in the tranny, if its still notchy you will have to adjust the shifter cables. Other than that I had no problem.
