Wobble and shake (not a weak 60s song)

Here is the deal: I recently had my transmission rebuilt by a local shop, and have since noticed a wobble when throttle is aggressively applied and when turning to the right. When I turn to the left, the wobble is not present. Also, to add to the confusion, the wobble will go away after a little while driving at a decent clip (say 45mph and up) and will not return until I have parked the car for a while and get back in and drive somewhere (i.e. long dinner at a restaurant, ballgame at a friends house, etc.). Basically, I am looking for suggestions as to what this may be. I am convinced it is in the driveline on the drivers side perhaps an incorrectly installed axle? Thoughts? Opinions? :|

I had a little shimmy and shake similar to that, especially it going away after a while of driving then coming back after it cooled down. I replaced the wheel hub and all was good.

That is something I hadn't thought of...anyone else?

That was why I was leaning towards an incorrectly installed axle, since those had to come out/be put back in with the rebuild. *scratches head*

I wouldn't think the shaking would go away after driving a while then. I would think it would get worse.

If you roll a flat piece of modelling clay across a tabletop, it gets round. If you leave it there for a while it gets a flat spot. I still don't know if this has anything to do with your situation though.

Agreed, but I wouldn't equate a rim to a piece of clay. :p

Can't. 17s and a 15 or 16 in spare+AWD = disaster. I am switching the wheels from the front Sat. to see if the wobble follows the wheel to the right.
