JDM AWD tranny bolt on operation??

My tranny (or transfer case) died on my way to school and I'm looking into my options. I have located a JDM AWD tranny on the trader that I am thinking about putting in my 2G (I like the taller 1st and 5th gears). Would this be a simple bolt on affair or would I need to locate a new bell housing and other items to put it on? If it's too much hunt and peck for parts, I'll just throw on a used 2G AWD but the idea of the two taller gears is very inticing. Please let me know ASAP as the tranny will be taken apart tomorrow and I would like to get some options before then. Thanks and take care.

wasnt a pain for my 1G, not sure about the 2G's though
