lancer evo tranny

This may be another stupid question, but i'm gonna ask anyways. Does anyone know if a tranny from any evo series fit in gsx??? I think the engine bay of gst/x look the same (like where the engine and tranny are) with evo III. Would it be a stronger tranny than our sucky ass tranny???

not for the evo III, from evo IV they made their engine bay opposite of ours.

if it is from an evo III then it will fit. it is much better but the final ratio is different so that needs to be matched for it to work with the rearend. i have one sitting in my garage that i want to sell if anyone is interested. don't know if that is allowed on the board, i'll edit it if it is not.

The tranny from evo III is 5 gears + reverse right?
How many miles does the tranny have?
What kind of condition is it in?
How much are you selling it for?
