Will this shiift controller work on my auto?

suposedly you can set the rpm points where the gears shift if you have a auto with 12 v activated solinoids... it would be cool to use it with a dsm trany and really fine tune for the power band

also another question, assuming the od is controled by a solinoid, could this unit activate that instead of a gear change, because i looked at the ratios and actualy the dsm auto has five good ratios if you use the over drive
