A/T not shifting at all

Ok here is the problem Im having with my A/T. When I first shift into drive it has no power and is stuck in third gear, I can manually shift it to second but not to first and it wont shift to overdrive at all. I just changed the fluid and filter and have tried 2 tcus and have the same result with both. Anyone have any ideas other than a new tranny? Sensors that could be bad? Thanks in advance for any help.

mine is a 95 GSX had the exact same problem exept It wouldn't shift at all from 3rd or 4th I heard if something went wrong it automatically goes in a protection mode and sets itself in 3rd or 4th (can't remember) I took it to a shop and they refused to even hook their computer to the tranny they said the wiring was screwed (stupid people)I took it home and checked some of the wiring, but all that was wrong with it was a damn fuse check'em out ...... After that it works good, the overdrive worked again too .

95Eclipes is right. If you have a owner's manual, read it to get more information on your problem.
