Ok I just got done with my motor swap and I put in a new clutch. The clutch that I chose was an ACT 2600.I got it off ebay but the guy who was selling it didn't have a pic but the price was right for a new ACT 2600, so I went ahead and picked it up.When I got it I found out that in fact it was a 6 puck race disk and not the street disk. So unfortunatly due to my present location in the world dsm parts are not easy to come by so I went ahead and installed it in the car.THe question I have is does anybody have any experince with the 6 puck disk? How did they like it how it grabbed that sort of thing?ANy input would be great as I have yet to drive or even start the car for that matter. Thanks to anyone in advance.

I had a 4 puck unsprung disk. I would have bought the street disk, but I needed it fast, and that's all they had. Anyways, It's kind of a PITA to drive on the street, but you get used to it pretty quick. It's damn near impossible to launch. When it grabs, it GRABS. If you're using it for road racing, or rally, it's awesome. Since yours is a FWD, and you have a 6 puck, I don't know what the comparison would be to an AWD. But, I hope that helps a bit.

Puck clutches are evil. There is no need for them to exist. DSM's will run into the 9's with a full face organic disk. I lost 3rd, 4th, 5th and reverse as well as ripped a brand new u-joint in half with my puck disk two weeks after i installed it.

Ok I guess I don't know what to do here it is already installed and I have no choice at the moment. But if it is good then fine, but if it tears s*$! up then at least I have a spar tranney, along with spare axels.Any one eles have anything to say?
