What Parts for a tranny swap AT to 5 Speed?????

Hey I am planning on doing a tranny switch and I need a complete list of everything that I will need. Also an estimate of cost for the parts would be nice.

ive asked amny a people about this, including dsmers shop guys and other various car fanatics. sorry to say i found out that it really isnt worth the cost. to do a complete swap to meed all the machanacle parts as well as the ECU and a full rewireing job. the best option i found is to buy a 5 speed and convert all your stuff over. im not too sure tho so if somebody can conferm this...... but if you find a way congrats and more power to ya.

I agree, buying all the parts one at a time will be expensive.I am going to do the swap though. I just bought everything I need for the swap outta a 95 tsi for $400. all I need is a flywheel and a clutch. Most people will tell you not to do this swap, do what you think is best. I have way 2 much time and $$$$$ into this car to sell it and not only buy, but find a Black on black 5 speed turbo spyder. so I should have the tranny built and installed by the fall so I will let you know how it goes.
