Here is the deal

Under normal take off my whole car shakes. (5 speed)
when I let the clutch slip alot the car doesn't shake.
When I take of very lightly (low rev) no shake.
Sometimes shakes on down shift
shakes in reverse.

the moter mounts are not broken.
I had a new clutch in it 6000 miles ago, problem stopped. Now it is starting up again.

Been driveing a manual for over 15 years so I think I have a pretty good idea that its not me.

What could it be. Should I go with an ACT clutch. I put a stock one in it.

Something bent?

I'm at a loss.

Help.

can't help much, but if the flywheel was stepped incorrectly or not resurfaced at all would this happen? might be worth looking into or asking around what problems result from incorrect flywheel steps

The flywheel was resurfaced when the clutch was done. At that point the problem stopped. after 5-6000 miles it now is acting up again.

I have heard people (or read in this case) about stepping the fly wheel acording to the clutch spec.

Can anyone explain this to me?

I am planing to pull this thing apart again and probably go with an ACT clutch and just want to make sure everything is on the up and up so this doesn't happen agian.
