Princeton,
okay tried removing transfer case, got 5 bolts out, couldn't find the other one, is there one or is chiltons wronge, can I pry it off,

The Chliton's is right. It;s what I used. After all the bolts are out you have to yank on it a bit. You have seen the vfaq right?
