if anyone needs a new low mileage 35,000 mile 1g awd tranny i have 7 of them. 3 of them happen to be AWD/FWD Switchable. the other 4 are regular AWD tranny's. all of them came out of galant vr4's so you get the taller gear and double synchro. hit me up if intersted.

600-800 shipped. depends on which type you want. it will work on a 2g if you want to swap the bell housings. as far as i know 2g motors have 3 tranny mounts and 1 engine mount while the 1g's have 3 engine mounts 1 tranny mount.

Those do exist. They were found on JDM Galants I believe, and maybe one of the lower end models of the Evo(not sure on that).

Just be careful when buying stuff like that. Unless you can go inspect that sort of stuff in person, you really need to check out where you are getting it from. People like Manny have had a number of complaints about misrepresenting things he was selling, or out and out fraud. Some of the companies that import the JDM trannies etc can be found here:

What amazes me is that it's a "NEW" tranny with 35,000 miles already on it....

the tranny isnt switchables,
its the transfer case, and the tcases can he had for under 100$

and its not as cool as oyu think.

you must pull out a plunger, UNDEr the car, voila, 2wd.....
then crawl back under the car, ta da!!!!!! awd.
