here's the deal: my countershaft bearing is going bad. i need my tranny rebuilt because 2nd, 3rd, and reverse are all grinding and i'm pretty sure they need new synchros. i need to find a core to have rebuilt so i don't have down time. i know a guy with plenty of clusters from a 1G FWD turbo tranny... i've been told the clusters in a 1G and 2G tranny are the same, just different housing. i drive a 2G FWD turbo by the way. so, will the clusters from a 1G FWD turbo tranny work in my 2G housing? the clusters will be rebuilt, then my tranny will get dropped, rebuilt clusters put in, tranny back on car... any input is appreciated. thanks.
