keeping old pressure plate?

i'm buying a new race disc for my n/t 92.
could it be ok to keep the old pressure plate and just change the disc?

I would say no for the simple idea that if your clutch has been slipping for more than a day or two you will find that the old plate will have blue marks in it from being overheated or that it is scratched or schored. If your pressure plate is damaged it will end up killing your new clutch. Not only that but it is a big job and you don't want to have to do it twice becuase it wasn't done right the first time.
