Hey guys, here's my story.I was pulling away from my driveway one night and the tires spun a bit on some ice so I shifted into 2'nd to slow them down a bit and keep moving along, but when I put it into 2'nd,I let the clutch out and pressed the gas and she revved up on me as if I was in neutral or had the clutch in.So obviously I did something to my tranny, but I'd like any help with figuring out the exact problem I'm having.Ever since I bought my car the clutch would go almost all the way to the floor before any resistance was felt.Grinding occured if I shifted hard into 2'nd or put it in 1'st when the car was cold.I've bled the slave before and it didn't work, but it was oily.So that says I need to do something about my slave cylinder but now it's too late.I found a tranny for $500 Can. including tax with a 3 month warranty.I bought the slave rebuild kit for now to see if that will change my clutch before I go ahead and buy the new slave (Kinda low on cash). So what I want to know,is whether or not it's just my transimssion that messed up or if it could be anything to do with me clutch or engine. The guy I bought it from said he had the clutch replaced not long ago but he couldn't figure out why it was moving so close to the floor. What do you think my outcome will be when the new tranny goes in?.Sorry for the Looooong post, had to stress ALL the facts. Thanks guys
