Just got a new ACT 2600 lb. clutch installed... Basically the problem is when the car is in 1st gear with the clutch ALL the way to the floor the car starts to roll forward... I just noticed it the other day.. what can i do to fix this??? there's no way i can go to the track like this.. LOL... when i rev it in first with the clutch in the car starts to jump forward a little.. making me think naturally the clutch isn't fully engaging... so how do i fix this??? thanks a lot guys

Actually ur problem isn't with it engaging its witht he clutch disengaging. It could just be an adjustment. Adjust your clutch cable, you can back it off more so that it will disengage more or less.

I had the same problem. I didnt have time for it and just put the stock one back in for now. Im also looking for answers. Here are some people gave me.
1. master or slave cylinders are not working to full potential
2. bad clutch fork. Tip: Shim the pivot ball with a washer.
3. clutch pedal assembly.
4. clutch adjustment at the pedals

put your pedal to the floor, let it off, stick your foot under the pedal and pull back, did it move back a little bit? if so youve got a faulty end on your clutch pedal (its worn and rounded).

if not? lay under your car and look at the clutch fork (where it goes into the tranny). pull that little boot off. physicly where does the fork enter the transmission? (like on the passenger side or driver side of the hole?). if physicly enteres the hole closer to the passenger side, i would recomend taking your transmission off and shimming the pivot ball with a washer.

if not? check your slave/master. move open the little rubber boots on the cylenders... if they dump fluid they're your problem... they can also leak back into the tank.

if its still bad, check your clutch adjustment at the pedals

if not, check your clutch for wear (you should do this when you shimmed the pivot ball)...

etc etc etc... just a few possible scenarios: i think im going to write up a nice big document on this in a few days...

later, coppedge

It also can be flywheel step. and your release bearing. I heard that the stock bearing is better then the one ACT supplies
