after my car started to get a whining noise.. and clunking wen i go from a stop and and having to rev up to 5500 and bearly be going like 10 mph in 1st... its now stuck...yes completely stuck...i had to roast the clutch jus to move it 3 feet so i wouldnt be blocking my nieghbor's driveway  im pretty sure its the trans case,.. but will the recall still be good if it broke before i took it in?

The recall is good even if you roasted the transfer case, if the repair hasn't been done yet. The point of the recall is to fix it before it breaks or IF it breaks. :D

I don't know if this is true...but it works for me I took my car in to get serviced when I purchased it and the TC recall was never done car has (55,000 original miles) so I had them do the recall...less than 250 miles after driving the car my new TC locked up on me and the same thing you described happened to me. So I took it back to the dealer and they installed another brand new TC...and according to the head of the service dept. he said that the recall is a safety recall and can be done as many times as needed as long as you own the car. Cause I was worried down the road if it happened again, but he said bring it in and they'll throw a new one in...hope this helps some.

you paid 600 for a new transfer case. i have a couple 23 spline transfer cases laying around. i would have sold you one at a good price.
