I just found out today that I need a clutch for my car. I assumed the owner before me (over 3y rs ago)bought a centerforce from what i was told and since it has held up (we will soon find that out though). I have been doing a ton of research and i'm almost afraid to buy a clutch from anyone. I read the fidanza clutch thread and was horrified in the failures. Then looked at spec thread because i had one on my fist dsm but didn't have it long. That thread scared me away from Spec and I hear ACT has horrible customer support. What am i to do ? I can't go oem because my car will eat it alive.

I know this may be a dumb question especially as long as i have been around dsm s. If there is a centerforce clutch in my car now , would it be okay to just buy a new disk for it instead of a whole new clutch assembly ?

I have been having very good luck with competition clutches quality, performance and customer service.
I really like there stage 2 and 3 clutches they offer. They hold up great and perfect clutches for the street. IMO the best street clutches out there. I would not put anything else in my car.
Talk to melissa she will hook you up tell her I sent ya.

wow i feel dumb. I never realized 1g/2g clutches are same thing. It is weird that the catalog only shows fwd aplications not awd. (Products) . I have read nothing but good about their clutches so far so i think this may be my route as long as they do have awd clutches. Now do these come with an OEM TOB
