i have a 91 talon awd and everytime i stop and have to go the clutch chatters fairly bad. its really annoy, but i can get it pretty smooth if i go real slow. its the stock clutch and all. just wondering if anyone else has this problem

Sounds like something is wrong if it's a stock clutch. I would say maybe a MM is missing or not bolted on, the trans could be loose, the clutch could have oil on it, something was not installed right when the PP was bolted to the car, etc. I would have a friend watch the engine when you try to move forward and see if it rocks around a bunch. If it does, something is wrong with the mounts.

ok well i had a new tranny and racing clutch put in and it still has the same problem. i wouldnt say clutch chatter but it feels like i have to give it quite a bit of gas to get going and it kinda rough while engaging from stop to go in first gear. i know theres some play in the drive shaft so not sure if thats part of it. any ideas anyone? maybe not getting enough fuel?
