This friday ill bring my car in at school(auto Tech) pull out my tranny and replace my stocker clutch. Ofcourse this will be done with some assistance from my instructor and some other students techs.
The very reason why is because i hear a clanking noise sometimes when at idle, which looks to come from the transmission. When id depress the clutch itd go away and come back when engaged. My instructor says its probably the trans. bearing thats making noise.
Would i be OK with the CFDF or get an ACT street disk with the CF pressure plate?
..plus i might aswell get a new transmission bearing
