i put my act 2600lb clutch and a fidanza flywheel in about 2 months ago and yesterday i was driving shifting into 2nd and i heard a clunk and my pedal went to the floor. i got the car to my house and i could take my shift fork and move it in and out. so i'm guessing that it broke.

who do you guys recommend for tranny performance rebuilds.

all input appreciated.

Something does not add-up here... What moved back and forth, the clutch fork or the shift fork?

Braking clutch forks is pretty common, especially on heavier clutches. It sounds like that is what you broke. The good news is that you do not replace/rebuild your tranny. Just remove the tranny and replace a clutch fork ($50/new ~$15 used).

If you did brake the tranny, I have a low mileage ’93 AWD tranny (much better shifting than ’92) for $680. I also have a few clutch forks kicking around.
