I've done some searching, and i've come up with that TRE transmissions or parts are good to get in DSMs. I was just wondering if TRE transmissions were good for AWD launching and holding power. I want to know cause if/when my tranny goes, I want to get a trans or have mine rebuilt to a point that it would be strong enough to handle harder launches and more power in the future. Just wanted to get some input from people that are more knowledgeable about this subject. Thanks.

And if you know of any other transmissions or co. that rebuild trannys around the Northern IL area, let me know.

TRE four spider center dif, TRE double syncros for all gears, TRE forks + TRE racing gears just own... they are THE dsm tranny people. and if you dont go with them, atleast snake some of their parts for your tranny...

trust me, im a transmission guy myself.

Do u just send in your stock trans to them and have them put the parts in? Im guessing that its not a whole new trans though. Would it be better to just order the parts and have someone do it in my town or send in the trans. I heard that the work is really good, but the turn-around time is horrible.
