how can I tell the difference between a fwd and an awd flywheel?

Ive got too many engine parts lying around in my garage!!

I have a few flywheels from turbo dsm's. One is from a JDM engine, at least one is from a gst and i have at least one from an awd. All of them are from 2g's.

My problem is, im almost done with my engine rebuild, for my gst and I dont know what flywheel to bolt onto the motor!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at RRE's site, but the pics were not big enough to see an obvious difference.

Thanks!

-Charlie

Lay them on top of each other, for starters the AWD flywheels are smaller. You could also measure the radius or circumference if you choose to...

+1...AWD flywheel is slightly smaller, I ordered a FWD flywheel and recieved a AWD flywheel and installed it W/O checking the part #......Starter spun freely because of the smaller flywheel. Had to take the trans off and swap it out.

From end of the tooth to end of the tooth on the other side, the AWD flywheel is 10.75" across.
