Help me if you work for Chrysler

I called Chrysler today to see about getting my transfer case replaced since it just decided to start leaking. They say it was replaced only 20,000 miles ago on my car so I figure that it's faulty. Problem is that my car hasn't passed inspection for the year (pinhole in the exhaust) yet and I need to get it fixed before then. If anyone knows someone who works for Chrysler near Pittsburgh that can just claim it as faulty for me and replace it without giving me a hassle about the inspection I would be eternally grateful. I have a new exhaust waiting to go on when I get the transfer case fixed. It just seemed stupid to put the new exahust on and then tear it back off to fix the transfer case.

Why not take the exhaust to the shop at the same time? The exhaust has to come down to do a t-case anyways... Have them slap the new one back in. Or is that a mod that will cause it to fail the inspection up there?

The only reason I'm not letting the garage put the exhuast on is they will charge me 50-100 bucks to do it and I don't have it at my apartment. Besides, my neighbor at home has a heated garage with a lift, so I can easily install that myself (just got a cat. so it's legal for now). Fortunately, I got a hold of the Chrysler dealer today and they said I have to take it to a Jeep dealer. The Jeep dealer said no problem (they're replacing it without even looking at it) and they won't worry about inspecting b/c I told them about the exhaust work that was needed. They said they will have the part replaced in 3 hours but I would like to see that. I'm going to see if they will replace my leaking CV boots while they are under there for a reasonable price.
