Ok, i installed a new ACT2100 clutch, and i was having really low engagement, like as soon as i take my foot off the floor, its in gear. So my friend told me it was the Clutch Master Cylinder, and the cylinder was leaking fluid onto the push rod. So I installed a new master cylinder, and bled it, and it raised the engagement up more than it used to be, but I still have clutch play before the clutch ever engages. Like i can poush the clutch with my hand with a lil bit of force, then i can feel it get tougher as it gets closer to the floor.

Any body have n e suggestions, do i need to replace my slave cylinder too ? I preciate all your help.

its suspsoed to move an inch or two at the pedal before you can feel the throwout bearing touching the spring diaphragm... the throwout bearing is what we like to call "lubed for life" if it were in constant contact, they woudl wear out in a matter of days.... push your clutch to the floor, let it off, stick your foot under the pedal and pull backwards with a little pressure.... if it pulls up about an inch, you need to buy a new clutch pedal/pedal to master rod plate... if not, then you should take your tranny off and shim your pivot ball if the clutch fork rests on the passengerside half of the clutch fork hole in the tranny case... meh, say that 10 times fast ;)

My friend checked my pedal, and he said its not warped and that its fine. He had that problem before, his pedal wasnt wasn't pushing the push rod all the way in, cuz it was warped. So im suppost to have a little bit of play up top ?

adjust that sob nut behind the clutch pedal. You also could shim the fulcrum ball in the bell housing (tranny must be off). If that still doesn't work, maybe the flywheel was resurfaced wrong (too shallow). Or maybe the clutch fulcrum ball is worn off.

the clutch pedal isnt 'warped', the little plate that the master cylender rod conneccts to wears out its journal and provides about 1.5 centimeters worth of travel into the cylender. like i mentioned: push it to the floor, let off... stick your foot under the pedal and pull back. if it 'pops' back about an inch, thats your problem.
