TRE is selling 2nd double synchro kit. Is it necessary to get the hub/slider, 3 keys, 2 retaining springs, 1st gear synchro, bearing, and snap ring.

From my understanding, 2nd double synchro and 2nd gear
should be enough to do this upgrade. Need your expertise. Thanks.

As long as you have a 91-up trans, and your hub/sleeve are in good condition that is all you would need, but if your tranny was grinding, replacing the hub/sleeve would be a good idea.

Gotcha. Thanks. Yeah 90 ones would need to swap out the intermediate shaft. Too bad the we couldn't use the 2nd gr double sync for 1st since the diameter looks the same. Wouldn't be great if we have it on both sides of the hub/slider gear? Thanks.

I am assuming when you guys say to "90" trannies you are refrencing the 22 spline trans right?
a 23 spline tranny is 91+ even thought I have 3 23 spline trannies that are out of cars modeled 91 but manufactured 90. HMMMMMMMM!
23=good 22=bad. production date has no effect?
thanx
