Broken Shifter

So yesterday I was on my way back to work from home and my shifter just broke when I went to put it in reverse.
I did some searching and found a pic of what happened to me (not mine tho)
Any idea where I can find this bracket/pivot pin locally in Denver/Online w/ fast shipping? I currently have a bolt w/ a nut through it to temporarily fix it, but its a pain because every forward/back shift loosens it. So every so often while driving i'll be sticking a socket on one end and a wrench on the other to tighten it. Ghetto I know, but I got to get to work and back.

Any thoughts?

Is this part the same across all manual transmission 2G's? I mean between non-turbo/turbo?

I'm not sure how the NT shifter would match up, but in the meantime you can try some threadlock.

Found one today at a local "you pull you save" aka junkyard. Man did I luck out, the lady told me they had 3 2g dsms (1 eclipse, 2 talons). So I paid my dollar to enter the yard. Found the first DSM ... automatic . Found the second DSM .... automatic . Thank god the last one was a manual transmission .

Went to pay and asked if they take credit card. The dudes response, "For that?! Have a nice day". Turns out I got it for free.

For future searches, if that ever happens , I pulled the part from a non-turbo 95 talon.
It turns out that this part is the same for ALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION 2G DSMs. I was told by the Dealer that the mitsubishi replacement part number is mb870379 and goes for roughly $41 new.
