Hybrid 1G/2G case

Anyone know if a 2G engine side case section will bolt up to a 1G main case? I need 2G roll mounts, but it needs to mount in a 1G car.

Yes the 2g transmission will bolt to a 6 bolt engine in a 1g car.

Is this being attached to a 7-bolt block? The only reason I am asking is because my 7-bolt 2G (99) has an extra bolt hole on the bellhousing-to-block versus a 6-bolt. I am baffled why you would do this, since the rear mount is different between 1G's and 2G's. Did you fabricate a new rear mount on the cross member to accept a 2G tranny?

No fab work needs to be done. The 1g mounts bolt to the block, not the tranny. The rear mount location on the tranny will be unused.

I have an engine that has NO roll mount bosses on it. It is going in a 1G car. The transmission case is largely two pieces. The larger section to the pass side and the bellhousing section on the engine side.

Basically, I want to bolt a 2g bellhousing section to a 1g trans, so I can use the 1g trans mount and fab locations to bolt up the 2g roll mounts.
