Well got the dsm running today. Tryed to move it and the clutch slips almost completely.

Here is what I am thinking its the master cylinder I tryed adjusting it a massive amount with no luck. Seemed not to change the position of the clutch engagement at all. Also seemed to be fluid leaking from around the rubber grommet inside the car also.

The car sat for over a year. When I opened the master cyl. reservoir it was empty. I bled it twice properly and it would fall to the floor every now and then. Now... If I push on the clutch slowly it will fall to the floor and not come up. Only if I push on it slowly.

Now will this cause the clutch not to engage properly? I'm broke right now I'm going to pull the master cyl. out of my gsx for now.

Basically I can put it in gear and move the car but as soon as I give it throttle it just rev's.

Thanks for any help!

Awsome man! Thats the greatest news all day! I hope it is and that swapping it fixes it because im going to throw it into naragganset bay LOL.

Nope that wasen't it. Replaced it today still doing the same exact thing.

Check the slave next. Get under the car and peel the boot back on it. If there's fluid there, it needs replaced or rebuilt. Bleed the hell out of it then.

Could this be a problem with the clutch assembly? The car sat for over a year and half. How do I check this to see if this is the problem?

Thats generally a 1g problem. I suppose it's possible though. The way to check is to push the clutch down for 5 seconds and let off. Reach down and try to pull the pedal up further. If it comes u further your assembly is worn. If not start lookin else where. But again that's a 1g problem.
