o.k...someone straighten this out for me....theres a tranny shop in my area that advertises double syncro'd second gears....now...i have been told that the 2g already has a double synro'd second as well as a double syncro'd 4th is this correct?....also is there any gain by switching to a gvr-4 first gear besides the mph gain....?

No double 4th stock, but yes, 93+ has the double syncor second gear.

Switching to the GVR-4 first gear will supposedly get you taller 1st gear (supposedly 6MPH more out of the gear) and close the gap between 1st and 2nd shift. Will you notice this 6MPH more? Probably not. In fact, you will bog your launches more at first. Will you notice the shift into second? Maybe. Personally, I'd stick with the stock 1st gear.
