i had a sbr 3500 last season and it held about 80 somethin awd launches. id say i ###### averaged 1.7 60 foots at the track. i know your horsepower has alot to do with the life of your clutch, but im just curious how long peoples clutches are lasting. i just replaced mine with another sbr 3500. i put about 6 launches on it already. hows everybody elses clutch doing?

I've got a 2600 ACT with an OEM disk. It's got over 20k miles on it, and isn't showing any signs of slippage yet. It's got some great launches under its belt too. A 1.6 60' was my pride and joy (Stock (busted and leaking) suspension and Kumho Ecsta 711's).

on my stock clutch and stock pressure plate I got about two launches on my new setup before I could launch, and shift at 7k rpms in all 5 gears, and be at 7k rpms in 5th gear going 45 mph. when Paul swapped in my act disk and 2600 with act lightweight flywheel, he said the disk was perfectly smooth, so it couldn't hold anything. I guess the power just smoothed it out....ROFL

there was one night at the track when i ran 7 times. i pulled off five 1.6 60 foots but after that night i couldnt get a 1.6 again. i guess the track was prepped really well.
