Driving to work on the first real cold morning of the year here in Raleigh, NC, and my clutch starts feeling mushy. I turn around and drive back home, having to force it into gear. Hop in the truck and head to work.
Come home, looks like fluid leaked at some point under the car, but it's all dry and just spots now. Bleed the system, and the clutch works fine.
Any idea what actually happened? I.E. should I be expecting a master or slave cylinder to fail soon? We work a decent distance away and I don't want to get stranded in the middle of nowhere without being prepared. As of right now, both cylinders are operating fine, and I don't see any leaks. The fluid level remains at a normal level in the reservoir.
Thanks for any help in advance,
Ben
