crankshaft sprockets

can anyone please tell me if the 7 bolt sprocket will fit and work with the 6 bolt engine? i cracked the 6 bolt spocket and have a 7 bolt laying around. just need to know. thanks for any help in advance.

I have had to do it before with no problems, you should be ok. But I would get a bit more input first.

Yes, as long as they are all from a 4g63 motor, they will work. I did the same thing on my buddy's 7-bolt and he had a spare 6-bolt laying around so we swapped them.
