HELP.....Clutch is buggin out

got an act 2600 in my 2g about 2 years ago........did the slave cylinder at that time and did the master cylinder about 6 months ago.......recently the car has been hard to put into gear......so i adjusted the clutch to catch a little higher..........it worked and it was smoother to shift.....the next day the clutch went back to catching lower and hard to put into gear........does anyone know what this could be a symptom of or the problem speciifically??.......thanx......
