act 2600 slipping? no AWD

hey i just got a act 2600 installed with a jdm tranny and when i get on it it vibrates and i think it may be slipping a bit...i broke it in 250 miles, should i wait longer? whats goin on? Also my car is supposed to be AWD, and i just spin my front tires when i get on it..i lifted all wheels off the ground, put it in first gear and let the clutch out. front wheels were spinning but driveline/rear wheels werent, do i need a new transfer case? please HELP THANKS

The JDM tranny most likely has a 22 spline output shaft. Did you use the tcase that came with it or the one that is from your 91 car, which is most likely 23 spline. You need to source out and use an all alluminum 22 spline tcase with your tranny.

If the spline count on the transfer case was different than the transmission then the transfer case wouldn't mount on the transmission.

Sure it would. You cant put a 22 spline tcase onto a 23 spline output shaft, but you CAN put a 23 spline tcase onto a 22 spline output shaft. If you do so, the shaft will spin freely inside the tcase if perfect centered.

I dont have any experience with the whole spline thing, Im still lucky enough to have not broken one yet.

Is the 23spline larger in diameter than the 22 then? Thats the only way I could see it fitting.

If the shaft was spinning freely then unless he has a welded center differential then he wouldnt' move anywhere.
