Riding clutch?

OK first what is riding the clutch? Is that, say you drive in forth holding in the clucth while your drifting? what i end up doing alot is hold the clucth in neutal while I'm braking, what are good ways to treat the clutch if the a website for driving like a pro in a stanard, like no one complains about my driving i just want to know what is best racing-day daying?

Riding the clutch means you're holding the clutch during daily driving. For instance, you're on the highway doing 70 with no traffic in 5th the entire time, but your foot it still on the clutch while you're driving. The little bit that your foot is on the clutch means that the clutch isn't touching 100%. That lets it slip just a little while you're driving, and slipping means wearing. That little bit of a slip will take hundreds of miles off your clutch. When you're off the clutch, come off the clutch COMPLETELY. My clutch is original from '92 on my honda, soon to be Spyder GST!!
