90 trans in a 92

Will a trans from a 90 fit in a 92? I will get the trans case from it too so it will be compatible. All I need to know is will the shift linkage bolt up and will the axels fit and the driveshaft go in?

6 or 7 bolt? If it's a 7 bolt you'll need a 7 bolt flywheel. The shift linkage is different, you can either use '90 cables and a shifter plate, or modify the existing cables.

yes all you need is the bracket off of old tranny I did it
