Bellhousings

I recently brought a AWD eterna Sava (galant) E39a and its engine is poked (4G63). I was wondering if the bellhousing for the 4G63 is the same as the 6A12? as i would like to put a 6A12 in, otherwise is it possible to have an adapter plate made so i can run the V6 on the I4's gearbox? i dont want to have to pull the engine AWD and swap it. Also dones anyone have pictures of the 6A12's bellhousing and the 4G63's bellhousing so I can compare them?

The 6A12 and 6G72 share similar bellhousings. They are different than any of the 4 cylinder varients available. The top of the bellhousing is different and the starter is on the opposite side.

IF you could find a bad 5 spd FWD tranny for a 6A12 or 6G72, you could switch the engine side trans case with the one on your vehicle. The W5M33 AND F5M33 share some similiar cases. And you'll find that the F5M33 is found both behind the 4G63 and the 6G72.
