I have fluid leaking from my clutch pedal inside my car, which I am guessing its from the master cylinder going out on me. I need to know how hard it is to change this and what all is involved. And also is it OK to drive still(making sure fluid is still in the resavor? its my DD right now. Thanks.
you can keep driving around fine, as long as you don't get air in the clutch line, and you dont leak so much fluid your carpet starts to rot. replacing a master cylinder is easy, follow that tutorial
also would over filling the clutch fluid resivor be a reason to make the master cylinder leak or go out on me? or no it just something that happens? thanks

It's a 2G thing. Mine pulled the same crap 2 months after I bought it.
I've replaced two so far, very easy, should take no more than 45 minutes. Make sure you take off the hard line fittings before unbolting the master cylinder and you could have it done withing a half hour.
i took it out yesterday afternoon(i have a SS line to my slave so that made things easier) but it took about 30-45 minutes to get it out(first time doing it). it was easy and I got the rebuild kit...of course the autoparts guy orders the slave rebuild kit so I have to wait till wednesday to get the master rebuild. should be just as easy tho. now I just have to clean my carpet. thanks guys
