Need Help Fast.....please

Well i just wanted to post this problem i had myabe you guys might now what it is well one day after i got my car out i took my friend around the block and he wanted to see a pull from 1st-3rd gear. I did so when i finished doing the deed at the end of 3rd almost i stopped, i noticed that the engine was reaving by itself like going all the way up to like 5k and stayed there like i was giving it gas. I was wondering if you guys might now why that is is it the tranny or did the throttle cable get stuck or something?Also i noticed that my car doesnt really like high rpm's and being over 90mph does that have anything to do Random Misfire cause i have that due to my 6 bolt swap ok any help will be thankful

Anybody know this was at wot all first 3 gears it scared the shit out of me??any ideas??

i had the same problem the other day; however, i have the 420a n/t engine. it ended up being the throttle cable getting stuck on the clamp that connected the rubber piece between the cai and throttle body. good luck
