I got a 1g eclipse, 2.0 4G63(NT), 5pd. when its in neutral and idling its fine, but if I rev the engine, say to above 2000 +, and let of the gas, when the RPMs are dropping there is a grinding sound in the transmission, it almost sounds like a dry sucking sound. When the car gets back to about 500 above idle speed the noise stops. I don't have any problems with the tranny other than that sound. Any suggestions?

my guess would be bearings. If you cant drop the tranny yourself and figure it out, it'll cost a bit to have it done... first off check the fluid level though...
