rebuilt tranny, now end of fork on passanger side

when the slave cylinder is not attached to the end of the fork, which side does it go to? and is there pressure pushing it to that side? because when i take my slave off, i feel no pressure what so ever on the end of my fork. i just rebuilt it, didn't replace the fork, but it looked fine to me. so i basically stays in the disengaged position when i have the slave connected. does anyone have a diagram of what the bell housing looks like? i think i screwed up the piece that the clutch fork is connected to and moves in there (what is that thing called anyways?). any one know what could be wrong?
 
when the slave is not connected....the fork is disengaged pointing to the driver side.

If your fork is disconnected....I don't know a way to get it back on the Ball Pivot without dropping the tranny and snapping it back on.

Kinda hard to get it off in the first place though.

Sounds like a Mechanic is needed.

Good thing your FWD, you could do it in about 6 hours if you have a shop and air tools.
AWD's take 9 hours.

i got, thanks, and it turns out that i stuggled to get the tranny back on the motor and i forced it back by torque each bolt little by little, and for some reason, the input shaft just didn't want to go back in all the way, when i used that method. i finally tried just wiggling it and playing with it, then all of a sudden, the tranny just popped into place w/o a struggle and a single bolt holding on to it, and that was was the input shaft was in all the way, and the pressure plate deep int othe bell housing enough to push up against the throw out bearing. thanks anyways.
