Just wanted to know how much a tranny rebuild usually runs i just need a second gear because my synchro is shot...

900 is a good price with you pulling it off yourself. Also remember shipping. I had a guy at my local dealership do a FULL rebuild for me ... I paid him $175 and then parts were another $700. But I got EVERYTHING redone.

I was looking at shep and i think i might send it to him but thanks guys just looking for the best options

I have had very good luck with shep. i sent him my 2g tranny, he called me fairly quick and told me the options that i had, cost, and the thing that i personally like best, is everytime you call shepracing, you talk to him PERSONALLY. very down to earth guy. if i had to do it again, shep would be my answer. he also gave me good discount for the upgrades i did put into trans. my .02 cents....

for some reason shep does read this, great job man!!

i got mine rebuild buy a local guy he chaged me $550, he replaced my entire 2nd gear assembly, all syncros and installed my bm insert... that's cheap :D

thats nuts.. all i need is my second gear synchro deal done the guy i usually deal with is really good so i think i might call him up
